Haikyu!! Anime and Godzilla Films to Celebrate Double Anniversaries
This year, two giants (of different sizes) are celebrating major anniversaries! The anime adaptation of volleyball anime Haikyu!! turns 10, while the Godzilla film franchise turns 70. So, naturally, it's time to celebrate together!
The first of what promises to be a series of collab visuals was released today. Both Godzilla and Chibi Godzilla are getting in on the action, as seen in the art above. As time goes on, monsters from across the Godzilla films (both regular and chibi-fied) will appear alongside other Haikyu!! stars.
Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the “Little Giant.” But, Hinata soon finds that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles turn into a surprising weapon, but can they beat their rival Nekoma High in the highly anticipated “Dumpster Battle,” the long awaited ultimate showdown between two opposing underdog teams?
