A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! Anime Premieres in October 2024

The previously announced anime adaptation of the A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! supernatural comedy series executed a detailed lesson plan today, revealing an October 2024 release date, a teaser visual, production staff and the central casting.

Ryota Osaka (Satan in The Devil is a Part-Timer!) will play Haruaki Abe, a wimpy Japanese teacher who takes up a post at Hyakki Academy.

Based on the manga by Mai Tanaka, the A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! anime is directed by Katsumi Ono (Skeleton Knight in Another World) at studio Satelight, with series composition by Deko Akao (The Case Study of Vanitas), character designs by Natsuki and music by Takahiro Inafuku.

Yen Press publishes an official English version of the series and describes the story:

Rookie teacher Haruaki Abe is as cowardly as they come. It's hard enough for him to handle human students without whimpering-and now he's going to be teaching at a school full of monsters?! It's a classroom of horrors for Haruaki, as his mischievous students use every means at their disposal to prank him! Will this poor teacher be able to get his group of ghouls under control, or is this class destined for failure?
