Himitsu no AiPri Anime Unveils New Cast Members, Theme Song and Premiere Date

Last month, we got our first taste of Himitsu no AiPri, the next installment in Takara Tomy's Pretty Series. Today, there's lots more news on deck: tons of new characters and voice actors, theme song info and an April 7 premiere date!

First up, the rush of new characters. The whole student council is in play:

• Sakura Ichijoji: The student body president, voiced by Yuriko Hibi (first major role)

• Tamaki Nikaido: The student body vice-president, voiced by Anna Suzuki (Lemon Kokoa in Waccha PriMagi!)

• Airi Mitsuba: The student body treasurer, voiced by Sora Tokui (Nico Yazawa in Love Live! School Idol Project)

• Rinrin Shinomiya: The student body secretary, voiced by Misaki Watada (Meisho Doto in Umamusume: Pretty Derby)
  
  

  Also joining the cast are:

  • Chi Mamiya: A confident first-year at Paradise Academy, voiced by Yo Taichi (Suphia in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime)

  • Meganee Akai: Returning once again to help the latest crop of Pretty Series stars, and voiced once again by Kanae Ito

  • "Mysterious Girl": Voiced by Yurika Kubo (Hanayo Koizumi in Love Live! School Idol Project)

  • MC Aimu: An ice-cream-shaped AI MC, voiced by Showtaro Morikubo (Shikamaru in Naruto)
    
    
    It's also been confirmed that YouTuber and utaite Pmaru will be performing the show's opening theme, titled "Zenryokujo shikakumei!" Pmaru will also be making an appearance in the show's tie-in games as part of an upcoming collaboration. Last but not least, fans can look forward to a 4-panel manga on the Ciao Plus web manga service, with new installments uploaded every Monday after the anime begins.
    
    Himitsu no AiPri is being directed by Junichi Fujisaku and Kentaro Yamaguchi at OLM and Dongwoo A & E. Gigaemon Ichikawa handles series composition, with Yuki Nagano penning character designs based on original designs by Hiromi Nashimoto (Sin Sophia).
