One Piece, UNIQLO Gear Up With 25th Anime Anniversary UT Collection

It has been 25 years since the One Piece anime set sail, bringing Luffy and the rest of the pirate crew into our lives. To celebrate the occasion, One Piece Day (more like weekend!) will be held this August to commemorate the milestone. Global Japanese fashion giant UNIQLO is also joining in on the pirate party by teaming up with One Piece Day ’24 and releasing a new line of UT shirts inspired by Luffy’s adventure thus far.

Themed around the keywords: "Determination," "Friends," "Strength," "The loss," "Reunion," "Alliance" "Four Emperors" and "New Chapter,” the 13 designs (eight for adults, above, and five for kids, below), look back at key moments in Luffy’s journey to try and become King of the Pirates. Some of the moments include Luffy trying to save his brother, the Straw Hats in Egghead and more.

All the shirts will be available in stores in Japan from July 22 and online around the world from that date, just in time to plunder ahead of One Piece Day on August 10 and 11.

In the meantime, check out new episodes of One Piece as they air right here on Crunchyroll!
