Spy x Family's Anya Stars in New U.S Store Apparel Collection

For anime fans in North America, Spy x Family is one of the most popular slice-of-life series to debut in recent years. Now, a major U.S.-based apparel store has released a brand-new clothing line in honor of the hit franchise and its beloved cast of characters.

BAIT, which has previously collaborated with major anime brands like Domo, Naruto and One Piece, recently unveiled a new collection of T-shirts, sweaters and hoodies starring the Forgers. The central figure of the collection is undeniably fan-favorite child psychic Anya, who appears on every single item either alone or with Loid, Yor and Bond. The series consists of six different items, with prices ranging between $40-$80. Those who wish to see the collection in person are in luck, as BAIT has physical locations in several major cities across America, including Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Portland and San Diego. Prospective buyers can also purchase the items via BAIT's website.

Spy x Family's Latest Merchandise Includes an Iconic Dodgeball Episode Callback

The Spy x Family franchise began as a comedy manga created by Tatsuya Endo. The series follows the day-to-day lives of an expert spy called Agent Twilight, a deadly assassin named Yor, the couple's telepathic daughter Anya, and their dog named Bond. Assuming the innocent guise of the family next door, the "Forgers" work to maintain world peace in cooperation with the Main Intelligence Division of their home nation, Westalis. Anya's hijinks, both at home and at school, are often played up for laughs in the series; the Gray Crewneck Sweater in BAIT's collection even pays tribute to one of them. As shown above, the sweater's design showcases an image of Anya above words that read, "Killer Shot! Star Catch Arrow!" Dedicated Spy x Family fans will immediately recognize this as a callback to an episode where Anya plays dodgeball in gym class.

The main plot of Spy x Family focuses on "Operation Strix" -- a scheme Twilight designs in order to get close to an elusive politician named Donovan Desmond. As part of his plan, Twilight enrolls Anya in an elite private school called Eden Academy. While Twilight tries to keep his plans hidden from Anya, she knows all about them because of her psychic abilities and tries her best to help by doing well in her classes and attempting to get along with the politician's youngest son, Damian Desmond. As time passes, Twilight, Yor and Anya form a genuine familial bond that helps see them through all of life's challenges.
