One Piece Creator Eiichiro Oda Designs Logo for Legendary Japanese Band GLAY

For the first time in legendary Japanese rock band GLAY history, after 30 years the group finally has a logo to celebrate the upcoming GLAY EXPO 2024-2025, their continuing 30th anniversary project. In another first, the logo was created by none other than One Piece manga creator Eiichiro Oda, who previously created the poster for GLAY EXPO 2024-2025 (as seen below).

This will be the band’s first-ever fixed logo after changing their design with each project and will be used on all their projects going forward, forever enshrining Oda with the band.

GLAY also has a long history of anime music. They performed the first opening and ending theme to the 1994 TV anime Yamato Takeru with more songs over the decades, continuing their anime themes with the first two opening and endings of Ace of the Diamond act II and the soon to be released Grendizer U.
