Tokyo Ghoul Anime Gets 10th Anniversary Exhibition Later This Year

After days of teases, the official accounts for the Tokyo Ghoul anime announced tonight that a huge immersive exhibition for the Pierrot-produced series will be held in Japan later this year, with Tokyo up first in October followed by Osaka in December. A visual for the exhibition drawn by anime series character designer Kazuhiro Miwa was released.


According to the press release, the Tokyo Ghoul EX. - An Immersive Experience Exhibition will have “3D exhibits, interactive experiences, and realistic images,” all based on the popular anime series. 

Each ticket holder will be given a special piece of art drawn by manga creator Sui Ishida, which will be revealed later, as well as a Lenticular Card based on one of four characters depending on when attending the event, the four characters in order: Rize Kamishiro, Ayato Kirishima, Uta and an awakened Ken Kaneki.

The Tokyo event will be held from October 21 to December 1 at Warehouse TERRADA G1 Building in Shinagawa, with tickets going on sale on July 6. The Osaka event will be held from December 14 to December 29 at VS. inside Grand Green Osaka.
